The product specifications provided by Walgreen Corporation does not state whether this product is actually a colon cleanser or not. This product is a diet supplement that was designed to do the following functions, once used:
• Detoxify the body, ridding it of stubborn toxins and waste products
• Improve your flagging energy levels
• Can be used to support diets (for weight loss efforts)
However, the product specification does say that it was designed to “revitalize and cleanse the body”. We’re assuming that it means the lymphatic system, liver and kidneys, including the GI tract. The Detox7 website was also clear that this product is not a laxative. So if you were looking for a colon cleanser that was full of herbal laxatives, perhaps now would be a good time to look for something else.
However, if you were looking for something that would cleanse your liver and kidneys of harmful toxins, this product is perfect for that purpose. A selling point of this product is that it won’t take you 1 whole month to cleanse; just 1 week.
Detox 7 Internal Body Cleanser uses a 2-step program that lasts for 7 days. Concisely, each Detox 7 cleansing kit contains a rich fiber source and a proprietary blend of natural herbs that help maintain a clean system, all over.
The 1st step is accomplished with the Pre-Measured Fiber Packets. You take 1 packet each morning and mix the packet into plain water to produce a fiber-packed mixture. The result is a fiber drink that would help you move your bowels gently and more regularly, now that you have more fiber in your daily diet. Again, Detox 7 is not a laxative. The main purpose of drinking the fiber shake is to improve digestion by introducing well-known bulking agents like psyllium into the digestive system. The fiber drink/shake comprises the daytime support from Detox 7 Internal Body Cleanser.
Now, like other internal cleansers, Detox 7 Internal Body Cleanser also has nighttime support (Detox 7 caplets).
Detox 7 may produce side effects in some users such as severe headaches, bouts of migraine, bloating and increased bowel movement; especially those who are detoxifying their system for the very first time.
